| Pinneberg/Germany, June 16th, 2020 – The company markets its new ROTEC® LDX compounds for homogeneous light diffusion under the "LDX by ROMIRA" slogan. Today LEDs have become indispensable in the field of lighting technology. Special plastic compounds are used to prevent hot spots and ensure homogeneous light distribution. ROMIRA provides customer-specific solutions based on polycarbonate and PMMA and can offer different colors ranging from transparent to translucent, according to customer requirements. The issues of design freedom and sustainability will also be in focus by ROMIRA: ROTEC® AC compounds are suitable for the production of premium parts with high-gloss or deep matt surfaces. Furthermore, it is possible to produce high-gloss and matt in one injection cycle and one part. ROMIRA also offers special metallic compounds. Working with a coordinated compound, application technology and joint tool design at the customer's site enables metallic-like designs and surfaces to be created that can otherwise only be produced using additional production processes. |
